Start For Free Then Strive For Five

No matter how good any business opportunity is, getting new people to join it can be a very difficult task. First of all, there are so many other businesses vying for people's attention, and each one them is claiming to be the best at helping people make money. And secondly, if all that people get to see regarding your business offer is a view of a promotional page for a just few seconds, they are not likely to be convinced to go into it with you.

Nevertheless, unless you get enough paid sign ups to a program, you are probably going to give up on it and move on to find something else that might actually provide you with an income that is worth the time and money you spend on it.

I would like to make a suggestion. Why don't you give up trying to directly promote a business opportunity though your advertising efforts, and instead start giving something away for free that will appeal to the same people who you hope will join your business?

You should know from your own experience that people are much more willing to accept something for free than they are to pay for something new to them. They will even give their name and email address in order to get it. That is why you should start your businesses building efforts by giving away something absolutely for free (which is even more attractive than just a free trial, although free trials are still better than trying to sell something).

You should use that free-give-away strategy to build up a mailing list of not just a few people, but as many people as possible. Keep promoting your free offer so you can, over time, build a list of hundreds of people. If your free offer is attractive enough you could even build a list with thousands of people on it.

That list is your key to success. Those are the people who are most apt to take the time to really consider the money making business you want them to join. They've already agreed to give you their name and email. They've already received something from you that they have seen has good value. When they open your emails and click on the link to see your promotional page, they will be choosing to do it to learn something. They are not doing it just to earn ad credits to promote something because none are being offered.

The people who have opted in to be on your list are the people who are most likely to consider joining your business. So that is why I say you should start for free (offer people something of very high value for free) and then strive to get at least five of the people who opt in to be on your list to sign up to your paid offer.

You should then encourage those five people to do the same: Start For Free Then Strive For Five.

Why Five? Well, those who get five paid sign ups to a good network marketing company will be able to stay in profit even if one or two of their sign ups drop out. If the company has a good compensation plan, 5 paid sign ups is both a reachable goal for most people, and it can over time help bring in a substantial income.

As for something that would be good to give away for free, I personally recommend the suite of web marketing tools you can get and give away at Gorilla Marketing Pro. You don't have to have a separate list builder or other way to email everybody on the email list that you generate. That is included with the free tools. Just join GMP and start giving it away for free.

You can then promote whatever you want to those who opt in to get their own GMP marketing system. I suggest that it be something that is low cost (like about $10 a month), and which pays a decent commission.

I personally don't choose to go with businesses which make you pass up to your first referral and commission to your sponsor. I'm okay with passing up some referrals if the program offers sufficiently high commissions, but not the first one. After all, if it takes quite a while for a new person to get that first paid sign up, which gets passed up, and then takes a long time to get the second one, he or she may get discouraged and drop out.

One program that I like that lets you keep commissions from your first, third, and fifth and all other odd numbered referrals is All In One Profits (AIOP). For me, this is a company for which it would be good to strive for five, and then encourage them to give away something for free (such as GMP) to build a list and then strive for their own five paid AIOP sign ups.

The network marketing aspect of AIOP is that the first, third, firth (and ever other odd numbered) referral goes to you, and second and fourth and all even numbered paid sign ups go to your sponsor. That means that for those who have you as their sponsor, their 2nd and 4th (and all other even numbered) referrals will go to you. And you would of course encourage those new people to start giving away GMP (or something else of high value) for free, and then strive for five paid AIOP referrals (2 of which will go to you).

It is a lot easier to get 100 people to accept a free gift from you than it is to try to get 100 people to buy something from you. And it is also easier to strive to get 5 people who are already on your email list to join a business opportunity than it is try to get 5 or even 1 or 2 people to join from those who are only glancing briefly at your ads on advertising sites for the purpose earning advertising credits.

If you are ready to Start For Free and then Strive For Five with the programs I recommend, then here are banners that link to GMP and AIOP. (In the case of AIOP, I'm linking you to the  AIOP Team 4 Step because they will give you your own promotional page and also set up an entire autorespsonder campaign for a 4 Step Income System in your AIOP back office.)
