Keep Learning To Keep Earning

Today I learned something that impressed me quite a bit when I read How to Be Member of the Day and a Christmas Gift by Tom Raich. Since I've had the privilege of being Featured Member of the Day four times this year, you might think that I don't need to learn more about that particular subject. But Tom is a successful businessman and marketer so I suspected I could learn something important from his press release.

As it turned out, one portion of Tom's press release particularly struck me. After he explained his 3 real-life business ventures he wrote:

How do I promote these ventures?

Only one way, by writing press releases and posting them here. This strategy finds me more than enough new business. I don't post a huge quantity, just one every second or third week or so. I concentrate on quality.

Just think about that for a moment. The only way Tom promotes his businesses is by writing press releases and posting them here on IBO. And the key for him is not the quantity of press releases, but the quality.

How it came about that I got to read Tom's press release today was he had made a comment on my Does It Make Sense To Click For Cents At Clixsense? press release. In his detailed comment he had said that it was the best intro to Clixsense that he'd seen.

Tom wasn't the only one to mention that my press release about Clixsense was well written. I had taken my time and gone back over it a number of times to hopefully explain everything as clearly as I could. It does take longer to correct typos and reword sentences and paragraphs, but it is clearly worth the effort. Hopefully the more careful writing that I do, the better I will get at it.

Earlier this week my IBO Social profile page wasn't getting all that many visits per day. Maybe about a hundred or so. However the past few days it has been, 200, 300, and even over 400 visits. Could that upturn have to do with taking more time to get the things I write for my press releases and social page as good as I possibly can?

The comments we get on our IBO press releases come from other IBO members whether they joined years ago or just minutes ago. But our press releases and our Social pages get seen and read by people from all around the world when they turn up in Internet searches. We want those people to like what they read, so we need to learn to write them just as well as we possibly can. If people don't like what they read, they won't be interested in doing business with us.

Sometimes what we learn is not entirely new to us. I already knew something about what it takes to be Member of the Day here on IBO. I already knew that quality was important. But today I learned a little more about how important those things can be, so I will focus even more attention on them. It certainly works to enable Tom Raich to earn more, and it can work for you, too.

In conclusion, perhaps you'd like to see how my IBO Social Profile page now looks after I've done some things to hopefully improve its appearance and content. Just click the link below:
