A Most Unusual Post.

Hi Everyone,

The following is a most unusual post.
This post is based on my beginning draft for a video about
Setting Up a YouTube Channel.

So this post is a plug for my new video series...right?   Of course!

What I want to share with you are two things:

#1:  The Video is UNIQUE...we all need a Unique selling proposition.
Mine is that I am heavy on the 'how', and the how is included.
But this video will be unique in that it will highlight and train on
other important aspects that will help you to build a better
foundation for video success.

#2:  Notice below...email capture and monetization! (in progress)

Many YouTubers are NOT monetizing and are NOT building a list.

Getting YouTube subscribers is great but not the same as building a list.
Many of your visitors may not subscribe, but they want your free download,
so they get on your list!

New YouTube Rules say you need 1000+ subscribers and
4000 hours watch time before you can monetize.

You can still make money (monetize) in the description.

Monetize YouTube just like you would monetize any other web page.  Amazon, affiliate, eBay rewards, Tee Spring,  etc.

One of the things that I do at IBO is to share what I am doing with
my fellow associates and my IBO readers.  You get to look 'over
my shoulder' at what I do and therefore you can better emulate it.

How To Set Up A YouTube Channel

Hi and welcome.  I am George Pierce.
I am the founder of Internet Marketer Training and I want to thank you for visiting.
This video is about Setting up a YouTube Channel.  (Tell your viewers what your video is about ASAP)

There are a few things that you need to decide on first.

#1 is what is your channel going to be about?

You can jump around and make videos about whatever you want,
but focusing on a particular niche should make it easier to build
your channel and your subscribers.

Creating a channel about passion is still sound advice.   It will
make content creation easier and your videos will be a labor of love,
a joy, a pleasure
rather than a chore.

#2:  What do you want for the name of your channel?

Choose a name that describes your niche, your brand,
your objective, your user benefit, your uniqueness, etc.

Now let's talk about your video equipment.

The good news is that your laptop or phone will do the job.

Create Your Channel.  (use Bandicam)  Step by step screen cast video.

Use your gmail account, follow the steps.

Next:

Are you going to use screen capture?

I just used screen capture to
illustrate the steps for setting up your YouTube channel.
I used a paid version of Bandicam.
Bandicam also has a free version, so does Screencast-O-Matic.

You will find links below.

Each allows up to 15 minutes on the free version and will
show a small unobtrusive watermark.  The paid versions
have no video length limit and no watermark or you can add
your own watermark.

Upload image or icon or Logo and background.  Do you want your photo or a logo?

Fill out description...About section..make yourself or your product STAND OUT!

Plan your work, work your plan.   Set up a schedule.  How many videos will you upload and when,

Create Video....begin with ideas and pick your best ones for your videos.

Edit Video...Video editors  You will need a video editor.  Nit just for editing such as eliminating mistakes, but also for splicing and joining.  There are several free video editors such as Movie Maker and Bandicut.  They will do the job but are not too user-friendly.  Movavi is what I use, which is low priced and easy to use. You will find links below.

Once you have created and uploaded your video, you need a thumbnail and a catchy title. In the fourth video of this series, I will introduce you to a couple of remarkable free tools that can help you with your title and your thumbnail, two very important parts of getting views.

After your video is published you want to Like share comment.  Your comment will be to invite others to comment.

Commit, be consistent.  Practice.  Be patient.  It can take several months or more for things to happen.  As long as you produce videos with quality content, you will be fine.

This video is the prequel to our YouTube video series about video marketing.

The reason behind learning video marketing is to improve your YouTube
video results.  The next video is about how to connect with your audience.

The better you connect, the longer watch time, the better chance for likes, comments,

and subscribers.  All of these are part of the SEO algorithm.  Our video series will

help you all this and in a step by step manner.
.

Thank you for reading, my friends.  I wish you much success.

PS.  The above is getting close to finished,  Most videos are based on an idea and so is this one.
From an Internet Marketing point of view, videos and posts and pages should be created around 'keywords'.
Keywords are the words, that our potential viewers are using to find us.  Regarding keywords, I have
already looked at several competitors' videos and will do a keyword search.  Then I will choose a handful of appropriate and relative keywords for my tags and I will SPRINKLE them into my script.

PPS.  Video is where the Internet is headed!  It is expected to be 80% by next year. If you are thinking about YouTube. now is a good time to get started.
