Taking Branding To The Next Level!

A week or so ago, I found it refreshing and enjoyable to see that some of my IBO Associates and friends were taking branding to the next level.  How?  They were sharing information about themselves.  I fully support letting people get to know you.  We need not bare our souls, but the Internet can be a cold void.   Letting folks get to know you is a form of branding, but, better yet, it is a way to spread some warmth across that void.

So...like it or not...this PR includes a little about me.

I am old sales dog who loves to sell.  I learned quite a lot about sales in my early 20's while working for MONY (Mutual Of New York).  I have been in sales and management since then.

I love to read and learn, so I have studied, read, and listened to tapes and CDs for years.  Some of the oldies, such as Think and Grow Rich, The Great Salesman In The World, and As A Man Thinketh, are still some of the best reading.  I am also a fan of Dr. Wayne Dyer.

Reems Creek Golf Course, Weaverville.  I live a few miles past the end of Reems Creek.

I love to play chess.  I play at the Asheville Chess Club and online.  My online games are like the old chess through the mail games.  I make a move, then my opponent has anywhere from 28 hours to 30 days to move, I get an email when he/she moves, then I have 28 hours to 30 days to move.

I also love to play poker.  Poker is fun and I enjoy the camaraderie. I am lucky since the group of guys that I play with are quality folks.  Most of them are IBOs, and all are straight up, honest, and kind, my kinda' folks.

I live in a small town called Weaverville.  It is about 10 miles north of Asheville, NC, in the mountains of western North Carolina.  I live at about 3700+ feet altitude which makes summers heavenly.  Most summer days are in the mid-60s to mid-70s, we almost never break 80°F.

Main Street, Weaverville, NC.  Turn right at the clock to enter Main Street Nature Park.

Downtown Weaverville is a lot like Mayberry, but it does have a couple of traffic lights.  The speed limit is 20 MPH and you do not mind.

Weaverville has two parks.  One is Main Street Nature Park which is in the heart of Weaverville.  On the other hand, even though you are only hundreds of feet from Main Street, the park setting is so secluded that you feel that you are miles away from everything.  The Nature Park is only about 5 years old, and not everyone knows about it...so ...shhh!   It is never crowded and always peaceful and relaxing.  I guess that I should mention that I love to walk.

Weaverville has 2 parks. I love them both. Main St. (left) and Lake Louise (center and rt.)

Speaking of walking, Lake Louise...not the one in Canada, is the other park that we have in Weaverville.  There is a walking path which is one of the best combinations of gravel, sand, and I do not know what else, but it has the most walker-friendly (if that is a word) path.  The path happens to be .7 miles, so three times around is 2.1 delightful miles.

More delicious food than you can eat at prices you can afford.

People from all over the country seem to know about Stoney Knob Cafe´.

I also love to eat, which is why it is a good thing that I love to walk.  And which is why I  share the fact that we have some of the best places to eat, right here in Weaverville!

As you can see, I am so blessed.

Thank you for reading, my friends.
Much Success,
George Pierce
