Bubba's Lucky Streak! SNOWBALLS

lucky is when someone else does the laundry joke

This IBO post is based on a combination of being "LUCKY" and the "SNOWBALL EFFECT'.

Bubba's Lucky Streak!

Bubba lived in Florida for a few years.  He told me about how he was on a streak of  'Luck'.    As you may know Bubba is one of the nicest folks on the planet, just not too bright.

Bubba said that it started first thing in the morning.  He remembers waking up to his alarm radio, somehow it was five minutes early.  Instead of going off at 6 AM, it eerily went off at 5:55 AM.  Nevertheless, old Bubba was five minutes late for work.  At lunch, he recalls that he was fifth in line at the fast food restaurant. When he stopped for  gas, his change was $5.55, and Bubba's old house number at the time was 55. .  All day long, Bubba's day was filled with fives.

Bubba knew that this was more than a coincidence.  He told me how he went to the bank to draw out some money to capitalize on this 'Luck'.  Of course, he got there five minutes before closing, 5:55 PM.  Bubba withdrew as much as he could afford...$555.55!   Bubba left the bank, and went to the dog track, which happened to be on 5th Street!  Bubba explained how he could barely wait until the 5TH race.  He walked up to window five and bet the whole $555.55 on number five who happened to be five to one.

Naturally, his dog came in fifth!

luckiest guy.

LUCKY!

Did you ever notice how successful people are so darn lucky.   It seems that whatever they do, works and works well. The fact is that successful people create their luck.   They have learned that L.U.C.K. stands for Laboring Under Correct Knowledge.    Once they learn the L.U.C.K. formula, they perfect it, then apply it and create their own luck.

SNOWBALLS

One of the properties of the Internet is called the Snowball Effect.  The snowball effect happens when your Internet efforts seem to suddenly escalate and multiply.  This effect is similar to being an 'over night success'.  Ray Kroc (founder of McDonalds)  was labeled an over night success.  He almost agreed,  “I was an overnight success all right, but 30 years is a long, long night.”  It does not take 30 years on the Internet, but it still does not happen over night.

My idea of being lucky is eating as much ice cream as I want and not gain weight.

My Story:

My first snowball effect experience online, took about two and a half years (building a content site).  This happened after about five years of working on acquiring the 'correct knowledge'.   OMG...that is seven and a half years!

At that time, knowledge was hard to come by, now you can find it for free.
Presently, it takes about a year or less (for me) to see the snowball effect on a content site vs. two and a half years.

In other words, once you get a handle on the L.U.C.K. which may take you one to two years, you can then crank out dozens of regular sites (such as email capture pages, affiliate sites, product sites, and/or review sites) in a day and spend the rest of the week promoting them (my 20/80 rule...20% site building/80% promoting your sites).

You can also choose to build content sites, which takes longer, but will produce a much steadier income and should last indefinitely and will snowball!   This is probably about a 95/5 rule during the early stages...95% site building, 5% promotion.  On the other hand, with proper onsite SEO, traffic will flow without much promotion.

FYI:

What I am sharing works.  For example: at Win At Losing Weight, yesterday's bandwidth, which I consider to be a solid overall measure of site activity,  was 496.59 MB...in one day ( a five month old site).  A site that is considered a top site supposedly does about 167MB per day or 5GB per month.   Unique traffic for this month should exceed all the previous five months added together and we are only in the 0-60 phase.  The 60-100 phase gets a lot more exciting.

YOUR SITE!

Will your website experience the snowball effect?  It actually can!

Begin with onsite SEO, again, click here to read my IBO Post, "Become your own onsite SEO Expert in minutes at NO COST!"

Stay tuned for my next post , where I will reveal what I am doing that you are not doing.   You are about to discover a handful of simple tricks that take just a few extra minutes and will produce quality free organic traffic in waves!

My friends, thank you for reading.  Much success.

PS. As I build the Win At Losing Weight website, I am doing my best to share those things that will help you with your site.  I am 'lucky' regarding free traffic, let's see if we can't help you to be 'lucky' too.
