Is SEO Dead?

SEO is a tough task. I admit - especially if you're a beginner.
But you shouldn't let that stop you from doing it. There are
many perks of SEO, and if you can stick with it, you'll see the
results.

So should you stick with it or should you just toss it aside and
replace it for another strategy?

Well... you should STICK WITH IT.

To it's bare minimum, the concept of "search engine
optimization" is really simple.

Techniques like keyword density, exact match domains, on-page and
off-page seo, and link building are still important. It's
easier to rank high on Bing and Yahoo, but not so much on Google
(at least that's my personal experience).

Google's engineers are clever and they know the latest
practices (black hat and white hat) that marketers are doing
online. Their top search engine engineer is a guy by the name of
Matt Cutts.

This guy is as smart as a whistle. He knows about the practices
(even the ones being discussed on this forum), and he stays on top
of the marketplace. This guy knows how to do his job.

Nevertheless... you shouldn't let this deter you. You can still
rank high for low competitive keywords, and still pick up on some
of that free search engine traffic.

If you have a blog, this should be even easier for you. Make sure
to create new content everyday, keep doing your SEO and you will be
good to go.

And no... you're not wasting your time on SEO. LOL....
