B'day Get-Together?

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up that morning.

I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday! ", and possibly have a present for me.

As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone "Happy Birthday."

I thought... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids will remember.

My kids came in to breakfast and didn't say a word.

So when I left for the office, I felt pretty low and somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, "Good Morning Boss, Happy Birthday!"

It felt a little better that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock and then Jane knocked on my door and said,

"You know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it's your birthday, let's go out to lunch, just you and me.

" I said, "Thanks Jane, that's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!"

We went to lunch.

But we didn't go where we normally would go. We dined instead at a little place with a private table.

We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day...We don't need to go back to the office, do we?"

I responded, "I guess not.
What do you have in mind?" She said, "Let's go to my apartment."

After arriving at her apartment, Jane turned to me and said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for a moment.

I'll be right back."

"Ok." I nervously replied.

She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake...

Followed by my wife, kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday".

And I just sat there...

On the couch...

In my birthday suit.

Affiliate Marketing Or Building An Online Presence

You probably won't be surprised to learn that the winning affiliate marketing strategy involves getting as much targeted traffic to your affiliate products as possible.

Recall, getting enough traffic starts with choosing a product or service that is guaranteed to generate interest and then to convert into sales.

One part of an effective affiliate marketing strategy is making sure that you leverage the merchant's time and effort that have been put into their product or service.

An experienced and skilled merchant will know that the more their affiliates are selling, the more they'll earn.

Conversely, good affiliates are able to spot the most skilled and experienced vendors.

Vendors continue to test and tweak the product's or service's sales page to make it into a the most compelling offer possible.

This test and tweak strategy will make it hard for enquirers to refuse the offer once they land on the page.

Keep in mind, that affiliate marketing can looking for enquirers, the advertising for which is less costly.

Affiliates can also look for buyers directly, the advertising for which is relatively expensive.

From the affiliates perspective you need to look for sales pages that are simple and clean, that offer a compelling headline, and testimonials.

Also, if possible, even a timer that shows people how long they can claim the product and the bonus that must come with it.

Imagine scarcity and free bonuses incorportated in the sales page.

This type of sales page may be more apropos for enquirers.

Once you've chosen a product with a proven sales page and conversion rate, you need to get as much high-quality targeted traffic to the offer as possible.

Enquirers are always found on niche Traffic Exchanges, Safelists,Classified

ads, and Banner ads.
Solo Ads are a step above TEs and safelists, but a step below SEM.

Recall, SEM's PPC marketing is more of a sure thing for coversions and sales, but at a higher expense.

Remember the fundamental rule of affiliate marketing,or maybe call it Internet Marketing, is to build a list.

http://moms-make-money.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/List-Building-Secrets.pdf

This is more for IMers, who are more about building an online business than even affiliate sales.

This is why the optin page preceeds the sales page, to get signups that go into a niche list.

Don't get me wrong thare re affiliates that are able to make significant profits by consistently jumping on the new niche product bandwagon.

They do well by the methods above which I'd referred.

Obviously, good to start collecting niche email addresses, but not a game stopper.

As you know you can set up a content blog or website that provides useful information on the niche product or service you are selling.

Set up your content blog here, http://www.startyourownbiznow.com/?cp=lv1HTtJr

If you are just starting outyou want to negotiate the WWW and become an affiliate.

As I'd said you use the sales pages of the niche vendor.

Recall, you can advertising for many different niches. The MMO, health and fitness, weight loss niches are still predominant.

A WordPress blog is often the most highly recommended blog site, because it comes with many free plug-ins.

After you've chosen the product or service that you want to promote, some affiliates build dozens of minisites with the product offering as the domain name.

Recall, affiliate marketing 101,if you are fairly new, you want to choose less competitive keywords and go after the "low hanging fruit".

You can look for keywords that match product offerings here,
