How Much Will You spend on a new opportunity

How much are you willing to spend to start a new online business

I always wonder about the opportunities offered on the Internet with prices ranging from free to thousands of dollars. There is no doubt that the no cost start up is the most popular, because it carries no risk of monetary loss at all. The catch is what can you get for nothing and the answer is usually nothing, or at the most you need to spend a lot of time promoting something to earn a small commission.

Many people are quite prepared to take a chance of spending say $30-50 to get started in an MLM business with the idea of selling to friends and family as set out in most MLM models. These people will take a chance and will be be quite happy to break even or even make a small profit.

Now investing a few thousand might appear on the outside to be a risk but think about it most franchise businesses require a lot more in start up costs, but generally they offer a proven system but even so you might need to work for a few years to break even.

you need to think about it, does paying more money at the start give you additional benefits such as a greater commission on day one or an easier way to qualify for higher bonuses. If you are financially stretched to make a higher commitment you are much more likely to do what ever it takes to make the system work for you.

Always remember an online business is a business and needs to be treated as such. If you have done you home work and the company has propriety niche products there can be little reason for holding back.

Until the next time
