Why Are Customers Important

Customers are the key to any business, without customers all businesses will fail. Many people who start a home  business fail either because  the products they are selling are not popular or they cannot find customers willing to purchase.

Most home based business are based on an MLM concept of selling to friends and family and this is a limitation. Part of the limitation is you end up with  many distributors each having few customers, rather than a few distributors with many customers.  So why do so many people put pressure on friends and family to join their business as a distributor rather that support you my purchasing and using your products.

When you think about it, if the product is good most people will purchase on a regular basis as he product will virtually sell itself. You as a distributor Can focus your attention on business minded people to expand your business in different areas, without competing against friend and family.

You can also expand your customer base by asking your existing customers if they know of someone else who might benefit from using the products that you supply, quite often they will do this without prompting, buts is good to offer them some kind of discount or free gift as a thank you.

Keep in contact with your customers and sending cards on special occasions also helps to build your business.

I am working with a company which has some novel solutions to building a business, including options of purchasing customers, cooperative marking and closing services to sign up both customers and distributors.
