Metabolism and weight loss Did you know that you can speed up your metabolism without having to eat less or exercise more. IN FACT eating less food and exercising will often have the reverse effect and increase your weight because the body goes into starvation mode. If you are wanting to lose fat one of the best ways is to speed up your metabolic rate, so how can you do this you mayt well ask, well there are a number of what could be called metabolic triggers which can increase your metabolic rate, the rate rate at which you burn calories, without needing to engage in long exercise routines or substantial change what you eat, Using these triggers will help you burn off around 4-7 lbs a week, with very little effort. Increasing your metabolic rate provides you with a lifestyle change as its gives you more energy so that you can do the things you want to do and a faster metabolic rate means the food you eat burns off rather than adding to you fat store. I tend to sit at my computer for hours at a time, but this actually slows down your metabolism, so when ever possible you need to take a break, not only to rest your eyes but to stretch your muscles and set off your metabolic engine once again.
