It is All About How You Handle the Message
I spend many hours out here on the internet.
I am constantly doing everything I possibly can to make sure that I will not only make myself and the opportunities that I promote a success, but I also do all that I can to share what I have learned with others.
There are so many people to connect with and so many different sites that you can connect with them at.
However, I believe that you cannot just connect or associate with people, you must build a relationship with them. When you actually build a relationship with someone, not only will you be able to share each others opportunities and spread their information to others, but if you do it right, you can also learn from each other.
People go about their lives and businesses in different ways. We all communicate in different ways also. Some of us may be direct and to the point in our conversations and handling of business, while others are more laid back in their approach.
It is great to be able to connect with someone who is willing to share their knowledge and experience with you so that you can use it to better yourself and grow your business.
There are times however, during this process that you may recieve some constructive criticism about the way you may be doing something. Some people react to this (advice/suggestions I like to refer to it) in different ways.
I believe the way you should look at what someone is sharing with you, is to listen and take notes and then use what best works for you. I do believe that the person giving the "advice" is usually giving this advice to you because they care about you succeeding in what you do.
There are people that may not really care about helping others, even people on their team, however, a true leader will take the time and make sure that a person they are connected with, and have built a relationship with, is on the right track and pointed in the right direction.
Of course, it all comes back to how the person that has been given the advice reacts to it.
A leader will lead by example. If you can look at what the person sharing information with you has accomplished in their life or business, and the more you speak with this person and get a true feeling for how they do things, you will not find it difficult to follow the steps that are being suggested to you.
I believe that while you grow and develop your own techniques and learn more of the business at hand, there would be no harm what-so-ever of following the advice of someone who has a little more experience than you and who is actually willing to share a few of their "secrets" in the process.
So, get going and build some relationships that will be beneficial to all parties involved, so that everyone will be able to enjoy a successful future.
Because It's All About YOU! and Changing Yourself and Your Life for the Better
