Spring Fever is a physiological and psychological shift in the body's response to changing season.
It comes with telling signs:
restlessness, intense nervous excitement, high-energy spurts, loss of appetite, insomnia, a yearning to break away or a desire,
as one person put it one time, "to run away with mad love".
Spring Fever has appeared in love poems, stories and medical literature.
Statistically, many people experience intensely the symptoms of Spring Fever.
Longer sunny days seems to have a direct impact on people's psychological and physiological responses to the passage of seasons.
Spring Fever is not just in the head. It is caused by an adjustment in body chemistry and seasonal biology.
Well, I don't care what the so called "psychological and physiological" statistics are, all I know is I personally seem to get a "natural high" when Spring rolls around.
Just like on a stormy, dreary day, I seem to get more melancholy and just seem to want to relax and take a nap, I suppose the different seasons also play a big part of my mood.
But I can say without a doubt, that Spring is at the top of my list as being the season that I prefer.
What about you?
Does the changing of the seasons have any play on your mood?
Because It's All About YOU! and Changing Yourself and Your Life for the Better
