10 Things Every MLM Rep Should Know

Today, I want to share 10 things every MLM Rep should know. These tips are listed in no particular order. 

# 1 People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Take the focus off of you and make each prospect your focus. 

# 2 Recruiting is a process, not an event. You must walk your prospect through a series of steps and exposures before you can expect them to join. Very few people will ever just sign up on the spot.

# 3 Never badmouth another rep or company. It makes the entire industry look bad. Be a professional at all times.

# 4 It makes more sense to help your new rep sign up a new person than for you to go out and sign up someone new.

# 5 Treat everyone on your team as well as you would treat your best friend. Make people feel important and appreciated. Never take your team for granted or make them feel bad.

# 6 Always take the long-term view in your business. Every decision you make should be based on the long-term benefit to your business.

# 7 This is a two to five year plan, not a one-week plan to creating a rock solid residual income. You've earned no right to complain, question, or want to quit if you haven't been with your company at least two years and done at least 100 presentations. 

# 8 If you don't know what to say to your prospect, just ask them a question. Get them talking. You can't go wrong when you do that. 

# 9 You must sow before you can reap. You have to plant a lot of seeds and get a lot of NOs if you want to make it to the top!

# 10 The only difference between you and the people on stage is the number of presentations they have given and the amount of NOs they have received.
