Although IBO is a small social site in the world of giants like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn it’s good to remember that value and size are not necessarily parallel when it comes to getting your message out.

The often overlooked value of small groups in every area of life is that you can actually establish relationships (if you work at it) and remember people prefer to do business with people that they know, like and trust.

That’s why I like IBO.

This is the 253 week in a series of “weekly recaps” of the Featured Members of the Day

The IBO Platform recognizes one person/couple or business entity as that day's “Featured Member of the Day”, also known by the abbreviation “FMOTD”.

In my Lists of Posts you can find all the featured members previous 252 weeks.

A computer algorithm decides who the FMOTD is each day and although the algorithm  “specifics” are officially a trade secret, it’s apparent from my experience that consistent activity in the 5 areas you get stars from is what determines who becomes the FMOTD each day.

Want to beIf be the Featured Member of the Day? I suggest you start by signing in every single day (preferably twice a day) and then focus on ...

  • PR/Video comment Activity (every day)
  • Daily Wall Activity (greet some new members & comment on a wall post or 2)
  • Regular (probably at least 2 a week) Press Releases
  • Being sure you have a completed and current profile (1st  & foremost and Up To Date!)
  • Advertising Activity (with earned or purchased credits)
  • Referral Activity (that’s something you only get by sharing your IBO links)

By maintaining those 4 stars (or more) & participating (even for a couple minutes) each day.

the odds are in your favor that you will earn the FMOTD designation sometime soon

There is an IBO Rule to be aware of - that no member can be featured more frequently than every 45 days under any one of their accounts. (Some people have more than 1 IBO account)

Usually each week some FMOTD’s are relatively new to the IBO platform and some are IBO “veterans”. Just remember that...

Being featured is NOT about how long someone has been an IBO member but rather about consistent activity over a concentrated period of time.

If you already been featured, I look forward to seeing you featured again.

If you have not yet been featured I’m looking forward to seeing that for you in 2018.

FMOTD’s tend to be high value contacts with lots of connections. So logic suggests getting to know them can help you and your business.

For the week ending 11-17-2018, the Featured Members were...

Sunday 11-11-2018

Seun Oluwaseun of Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria became an IBO member on 9-21-2018. Seun is a 1st time Featured Member of the Day.

Monday 11-12-2018

New Macro JobHouseRanger of Manilla, the Philippines was also a 1st time Featured Member of the Day this week. This association member started on IBO on 4-28-2016.

Tuesday 11-13-2018

Bill Arnold of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA has been on IBO since 10-28-2017. This is the 5th time that Bill has been recognized as the FMOTD.

Wednesday 11-14-2018

John Williams of Lake Worth, Florida, USA is a 3rd time Featured Member of the Day. John became and IBO participant on 8-18-2017.

Thursday 11-15-2018

Ken Melton of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA joined IBO on 10-15-2012. So far, Ken has been featured 5 times.

Friday 11-16-2018

James Bass of Syracuse, New York, USA has been an IBO member since 9-24-2012. This  is the 5th time that James has been the IBO Featured Member of the Day.

Saturday 11-17-2018

Roberto Gianella of Briona, Piemonte, Italy has been an IBO member since 6-19-2016. This last week Roberto was featured for the 2nd time.

In the previous week 4 of the FMOTD’s were from the USA and 2 were from Canada.

This last week 4 of the FMOTD’s were from the USA with 1 each from Italy, Nigeria and the Philippines.

2 of this week's FMOTD’s were featured for the 1st time - 1 for the 2nd time - 1 for the 3rd time and 3 for the 5th time.

Seun - Bill - John - Ken - James - Roberto and the folks at New Macro JobHouse Ranger

- the featured members of the day(s) for this past week

Bill Bateman - (like Batman with an “E” in the middle you’ll often hear me say if/when we talk on the phone)

PS - I’m “all in” with Russell Brunson and the ClickFunnels team and (of course) I need customers BUT I REALLY need people looking to build their own business as affiliates (and you can do that totally for free) - Take  the 2 week free trial (so you know what we sell) but if you don’t have the budget (or the time) to use the program yourself cancel during the free trial and you’ll still be in business with me and I have LOTs of leads (more than I can follow up on)
