See - Do - Get - in that order

An old Japanese proverb states ...

"Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare."

Been there, done that, learning the lesson for the “umpteenth” time.

In this post, I’m encouraging you to pay attention to is the order and sequence of what you are doing. It’s the “bake a great cake” analogy…

If you have the recipe for the world’s best chocolate cake but you screw up the order and sequence you will NOT have the same cake.

  • Toss the eggs in after the cake is half baked
  • Sprinkle the baking soda over the top of the cake instead of stirring it in
  • Stick the cake in the oven while it’s at 200 degrees instead of waiting until it’s at 400 degrees

And it’s NOT going to be the world’s best chocolate cake. Same ingredients, different result...

Have YOU (like me) seen that latest “shiny object” at one of your favorite partner marketing sites (JVZoo or ClickBank, or a Network Marketing company that you love) and then just jumped in and spit out the sales talk, regurgitated the “value proposition”.

Did you REALLY take that “massive action” you know is necessary for success without paying attention to what that would look like if and when you “get it”?

Did you Blast that message EVERYWHERE (and anywhere), pick up the phone and talk to a lot of people, send a bunch of text messages, or a plethora of emails only to find…

Not too many people bought much of what you were selling?...

Steven Covey sold a millions of dollars of books and seminars based on the concept that we shouldBegin with the end in mind”. That we should know what we want at the end of any project before we” “launch” any project.

On the other hand....

Have YOU (like me) been guilty of writing copious notes, plans and schemes about your massive hierarchical systematic world domination of markets too numerous to mention only to realize, weeks - months or years later that you WERE NOT taking executing on all of those great plans?…

My guess is that 80 percent of the people reading this know exactly what I mean because they (you) are doing exactly what I have….

Plan trice, execute never...

That’s a recipe for being  part of the 80 percent that wanders instead of the 20 percent that succeed.

So today’s observation is pretty basic - BUT -  the basics are always worth mastering…

#1 - Identify what you want

#2 - Identify the steps to get you there (copy what works)

#3 - Take action - MASSIVE, never ending, overwhelming, charismatic, ACTION

#4 - Pay attention to the results you are getting

#5 - Eliminate what is NOT effective - Double Down on what IS effective

#6 - repeat - repeat - REPEAT - do it AGAIN - and again and…

Enjoy (life is short - celebrate every chance you get)

(like BATMAN with an “E” in the middle I tell folks on the phone)

PS - if you start your day chasing what needs attention you are out of control. Focus on what YOU need to do because no one else does “THAT” as well as you do (and delegate all the rest). That’s the skill Simpleology training helps people master - check it out by clicking Here
