Bill Bateman   My Press Releases

Featured Members IBO week ending 9-2-2017

For 192 weeks I’ve been publishing this “review and recap” of the Featured Members of the Day.

You can find the previous 191 in my Lists of Posts.

One person (or business) is recognized every day as the “Featured Member of the Day”.

You won’t find that on any other social media site.

I use the abbreviation “FMOTD”, it’s kind of uniform “slang” on the IBO platform and that means the same thing.

Consistent ACTIVITY is what determines who the FMOTD is each day.

A computer algorithm is used to determine who the FMOTD is each day based on member activity and compare all the members based on that algorithm.

The “official specifics” of the algorithm are a trade secret but…

I can tell you from experience that being featured blends participation of the 5 activity areas with a consistency of those activity over time.

If YOU want to be a Featured Member of the Day first start by signing in every single day (preferably twice a day). Then be sure to focus on regular...

  • A completed profile
  • Regular (probably 2 a week minimum) Press Releases
  • PR/Video comment Activity
  • Daily Wall Activity (greet some new members & comment on a wall post or 2)
  • Advertising Activity
  • Referral Activity

If you consistently maintain 4, 5 or 6 stars (under the IBO star system) & participate (even for a little while) every day, the odds are high that you will earn the FMOTD designation sometime soon.

Also, be aware that the IBO system rules are such that no member can be featured more frequently than every 45 days under any one of their accounts.

Usually each week some FMOTD’s are relatively new on IBO and some are  “IBO Veterans”.

Just remember that it doesn’t matter how LONG you’ve been an IBO member. It’s about consistent activity over a concentrated period of time that counts towards being featured.

If you already been featured, I look forward to seeing you featured again. If you have not yet been featured I’m looking forward to it.

If you want to see a lot more detailed information about any FMOTD just click on their name in this post.

An IBO Value Tip: Your success online will be in direct proportion to the the number of quality relationships that you can develop, maintain combined with the value YOU can bring to those relationships.

The Featured Members are the most active people here and (in my opinion) high value contacts. These are the people you want to “know, like & trust” and that you want to “know, like and trust” you.

That’s why I encourage you to take a minute and get to know them and (if you haven’t already) be sure to send them a connection request.

For the week ending 9-2-2017, the Featured Members were...
