Evening ALL
In the last few days I've been hit with barrage of SPAM both i my email and my my Social Networks.
Hence this blog .
Here's hoping this will make a select few see that what they are doing isn't the best way to advertise after all
WHAT IS SPAM ?
*** Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. Sending emails , text messages , or TAGGING ppl without permission with intention to draw people to your business is called SPAM .
Spam is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it.
Most spam is commercial advertising and is not always but often for dubious products or quasi-legal services.
Spam costs the sender very little to send .
Most of the costs are paid for by the recipient or the carriers rather than by the sender.
There are two main types of spam, and they have different effects on Internet users. Cancellable Usenet spam is a single message sent to 20 or more Usenet newsgroups. (Through long experience, Usenet users have found that any message posted to so many newsgroups is often not relevant to most or all of them.)
Usenet spam is aimed at "lurkers", people who read newsgroups but rarely or never post and give their address away.
Usenet spam robs users of the utility of the newsgroups by overwhelming them with a barrage of advertising or other irrelevant posts. Furthermore, Usenet spam subverts the ability of system administrators and owners to manage the topics they accept on their systems.
Simply put , this is NOT the best way to attract others to your business nor does it show good leadership or integrity and personally i'd NEVER join anyone that chose to target me in this way .
JUST A LOUD THOUGHT ...
If your networking and are TRULEY making great income you have NO NEED to bombard people with your unsolicited mail *****
ALL the really GOOD and SUCESSFULL NETWORKERS I've come across,connect with others in LIKE forums such as ''Networking Groups" and " Social Media " just to name a couple .
Good marketers and SMART networkers BUILD TRUST and FRIENDSHIP before jumping in a person's inbox and dropping links left right and centre

These are SMALL things BUT simple enough to do and often the best way to get someone you don't know ENGAGED in what your offering as well .

| | |  | | Thank you for sharing your thoughts, yes I get unsolicited emails too and it drives me nuts :) You would think after the first one or two that did not get answered, they would stop. It is so time consuming to go into each email and "remove" yourself from an email you never requested. |

| | |  | | I get Spam everyday. People just open the chatbox or send me a PM with just a short 'Hi' and a link. Discussing with these people does not help much and so I just delete and report them.
