5 Steps To A Successful, Healthy Day

Mornings are the prediction of how your day is going to go. Here are seven simple things you can do to start your day off just right and best of all…feel amazing at the end of your day. Getting into a routine doing these six simple steps will become second nature in no time…



1. Warm Water With Lemon

Your body is constantly working and busy. Mornings is when your body is functioning the hardest. The number one best thing to do for your system before eating or exercising is drinking a glass of warm water with a slice of lemon. It will not only get your digestive system ready for food, but it will also get your system refreshed and rehydrated for the day. The reason I say warm water is because your system went without water for a certain amount of hours while you were sleeping, and drinking cold water first thing just may shock the body, which could hinder the bodies optimum function for the day.

2. Self Esteem & Gratitude

Take a few minutes, find a mirror and smile at yourself. Next, recite 3 things you're grateful for (about you, your life, your accomplishments, anything no matter how big or small.) Next, take the rest of the minute or two and close your eyes, take a deep breath and focus on the gratitude and your breathing. How does it feel?

3. Cellercise

What if you could get a full workout in 10 minutes a day? You CAN! 4. Earthing

It's Spring, perfect time to start Earthing again… At some point between the time you get out of bed to the time your out the door, take your bare feet and walk on the grass for minimum 10 minutes. If you can’t do it in the morning then try at some point during the day and find some grass. Walking for 10 minutes on grass can get you grounded, centered and energized. This is one of the best methods for overall body and mind health.

5. List Of 3

And finally... This is my idea of allowing for more focus in your day and facilitate the idea of not being so frustrated and overwhelmed in the daily. In the morning; write down and/or recite 3 things you're going to accomplish today. Or if it happens that some mornings it's not quite possible then do this before bed. At the end of the day, write down 3 things that you've achieved that day. Doing this gives your mind a break from all the negativity.
