9 Signs You May Need Probiotics

Principle of health: Give your body the tools it needs and your body will rapidly start to heal itself quicker than you can imagine

If you find your body is slow to heal, this could be of many reasons, the first place is to start with your gut. When there is an imbalance in the gut or its just unhealthy, we cannot expect for our body and mind to be healthy. Imbalances in the digestive/intestinal system have been linked to wide rage of hormonal issues, chronic fatigue, autoimmune disorders and/or diseases, depression, anxiety, diabetes, fibromyalgia and a lot of other chronic health problems. Ninety-nine percent of our health problems stem from our gut. The other stem is acidity, but that's a topic for next time.

The Top 9 Symptoms Your Gut Is Telling You That It Needs To Be Rebalanced:

1. Bloating, gas, diarrhea, heartburn, acid reflex, IBS and any other digestive illness like leaky gut.

2. Food allergies and sensitivities.

3. Frequent feelings of anxiety or chronic stress

4. Depression, exhaustion, mood swings, irritability

5. Poor memory and inability to focus, ADD or ADHD

6. Autoimmune Diseases such as Hashimoto's, IBS, rheumatoid, etc

7. Symptoms of pre diabetes or diabetes

8. Frequent infections

9. Skin Problems such as eczema, acne, rosacea, psoriasis

How do we begin to heal our gut?

First and foremost, avoid toxic foods and drinks. The highest toxic foods are:
  • Sugar
  • Tap and Bottled Water
(Drinking alkaline ionized water such as the HQO will really reduce the toxic, acidic build up in your body)
  • Soda, Orange and Apple Juice
  • Hydrogenated Oils
  • Conventional Dairy Products
(High lactose foods cause many disruptions in the body that lead to many disorders like asthma, allergies, arthritis, lymphatic congestion, poor circulation, etc)
  • White & Wheat Breads
(Eating sprouted grains is the most alkalizing of all breads, so this may be an option for bread lovers)

It is also a good idea to avoid modern toxic substances such as:
  • Antibiotics - as much as possible
  • Tylenol, ibuprofen, Advil (All NSAIDS) - as much as possible
  • Pesticides
Next best thing to start the bodies healing process is to eat fermented foods (the natural source of good bacteria) such as kimchi, sauerkraut, non pasteurized dairy yogurt, kefir and goat cheese. Taking probiotics is also an excellent way to restore the healthy bacteria in your gut. With probiotics this will accomplish the results much faster.

Most brands of probiotics are low quality (especially "bargain bin prices") don't contain the right bacterias the body requires; Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium and Streptococcus Thermophilus

Our Recommended Probiotic: QBiotics
QBiotics is the only acidophilus on the market to have a time release patented probiotic in the world that contain the three most needed good bacterias.

More and more scientific research is emerging every day connecting issues with the gut to issues throughout the body and mind. Keep in mind to do your very best to manage your stress levels, by taking time for you at least 30 mins a day!

We also recommend this brain supplement: Empowerplus Q96
(Endorsed by Health Canada)

In conclusion,  stress management is key to good health, avoid low quality foods, sodas and other toxic substances, by eating the right foods and taking probiotics your well on your way to healing yourself from the inside out. Take your time, nothing happens overnight. minor changes are a great start.

Don't stress about the stress of getting healthy! Small steps are key!
