What To Do When You Are Stuck

What To Do When You Are Stuck

Have you ever just sat before your computer trying to figure out what to write? You don't have a clue what to say, where to begin? As if someone has shut down your brain and you feel stuck.

But there are a gazillion things going on in your brain.

It seems that if you are bent on writing, you simply begin to write whatever comes into your mind whether it makes sense or not! You are not really thinking about the 'makes sense' part, you will do that later. Simply write like you are talking to a friend. That should clear that mental block and make those rusty stuck wheels start to turn.

Do not write in long paragraphs. Write in short, sharp active sentences. Stay positive.

Writing to please yourself is a hobby which brings forth your creativeness. But that is not what I am doing. I am talking to you.

I recently discovered Adsense, that is, paying attention. Sometimes it is amazing how long it takes you to get something so simple, and then go through the mental map to set it up.

I started going through my computer. I have a bit of eye problem, which I won't dwell on at the moment, and when my computer freezes and my videos won't load, I learn to sit patiently and watch it bufferring. I learn to be more patient...if that is possible...Lol.

What else can I do given all the circumstances. You need a knew computer, you say. But sometimes nothing said as easy comes easy. The important thing is staying the course.
But back to Adsense.

I was going through the computer to clean up some loose ends and tidy things up a bit. Came upon Adsense in my Google Dashboard. To tell you the truth, I had never before visited nor paid much attention to know there was a Google dashboard. Did you? The things you discover daily.

This year of 2019 I am on a path of discovery with my technical challenges. But what is Google Adsense about?

Google Adsense is a CPC (cost-per-click) advertising program that allows publishers (anyone wanting to put ads on their websites) to insert a small amount of HTML into their sites and have ads appear that are targeted and relevant to the content of the site (courtesy of "Blogging your passion")

Well, anyway, I have to say that previously when I glanced, not looked deeply into Adsense, I thought it had to do with my paying for it, but it is quite the contrary. Simply put, it is about placing ads on your website or youtube videos that could get you paid. Of course this is based on content value in your blog. Basically it is the easiest way for bloggers to start making money on their sites. This is done by first joining Adsense, copy and placing the code given on your site.

Keywords are important in all this and that is why keyword stuffing is a No!

While this is not a New Years resolution, I don't make them, it is a decision I have come to in order to carve out some time to adjust and advance as much as I can my technical challenges, and they are quite a few!

Are you technically challenged? What do you do when you are stuck?

As always I apppreciate your time and comments.
