Are You Afraid Of Making Choices?

 Are you afraid of making choices is something you should think about as you may well get the answer to why you are stuck. Open your mind to possibilities and take action.

Everyone should learn and be aware that the power of the choices we make have consequences. It does not mean you should be afraid of making choices but rather be aware of your thoughts and create your future.

The choices you make when it comes to empowering your thoughts, may seem insignificant, but the smallest things can be the most powerful; and impacts on your sense of who you are, sense of wellbeing, and who you become.


Regardless of the results of your thoughts and the choices you make, you are responsible. No matter what part of your life you are creating now, at this moment you are creating it and the choice is always yours. That is the power of your thoughts, and your choices.

The power of choice is at the very base of human experience, and the choices we make, good, bad or indifferent affects everything and everyone around us.

After thinking and making the choice to move on, for example to give up a job in which you find no satisfaction and find stressful, your next choice is to find something to do, to occupy your time, create a sense of well-being and provide for you and your family. But are you prepared?

If you have a dream, visualize it, power up your thoughts, focus and stick to it. Everything you do, whatever the choices you make, let them be around this dream of yours until you meet your goal.

Here are some ideas of a few choices you can make:

  • Read self development books. Understanding and applying ideas as you learn is the difference between reading and memorizing.
  • Keep a journal of your daily activities, your thoughts and the choices you wish to make, or are making accordingly.
  • Learn to quiet your mind
  • Learn new skills. These days it is not difficult, with the existence of the internet, to learn new skills and work from home.
  • Exercise to keep your mind and body in tune
  • Find someone with whom you can discuss your ideas and help others. It is in helping others that you become aware of how much you know and how much more you need to know, benefitting both the person you are helping and you. Not only are you building relationships but you are making the choice to learn, do and teach. A growth process
  • Join a group or community and don't be afraid of asking questions
  • Don't compare yourself to others and don't judge them
  • No one but you are in charge of your happiness
  • Do your due diligence and search for what is possible online
  • Smile it relieves the tension
  • Most of all be patient with yourself
