As a reminder these thoughts were triggered by IBOAnswer

In my last post I focused on Copyright Infringement vs Plagiarism

So today my focus is on:

What is the difference between adding a Comment and a Guest Post.

This was my response on IBO Answers:

"Adding a comment is reading and expressing an opinion of the content on someone's press release, blog or article."  Or to to put it another way:

Simply put, comment is what we do here so well on IBOtoolbox, commenting on the writings, and thoughts shared by our associates, thereby creating dialogue.

Sometimes if you don't understand it, just let it be.

Doing a Guest Post is publishing your press release or blog content on someone else's blog, or website. You have to first  get permission to do so.

Guest blogging or posts work two ways. You can write an article seeking permission to post on someone's blog and you can accept postings from someone to your blog.

But in this scenario where you post to someone else's blog, you get fresh eyes looking at what you do, your business, especially if the website or blog you are guest posting on is a popular one.

There  are a number of sites that offer or allow guest postings. The requirements? That you are a gifted writer and can put together a story that peak the interest of people and solve a problem to which they can relate.

Here are a few sites you can contact:

Claims to be the largest list of guest posting sites, this site will provide you with a list of Niche categories from which you can choose to find Guest blogging sites.

So if you are good at putting a story together for guest posts, go for it and have fun.

The benefits

You will get traffic to your site or business while building relationships.

You can therefore see that there is clearly a difference between Commenting on an article or post and Guest Posting.

Remember this one thing: In each of us there is an art to creating something beautiful and meaningful. We are capable of taking that which is in us, the very thing we need to shape dreams and turn them into successes for our future and for others.

Thank you for taking the time to read my press release. I appreciate hearing from you.
