Who Hires a Coach?

Most folks do not like being sold to. They have built up a wall of resistance through past experience. Products will not breakthrough that wall,but what they will invest in- is the vision.Help them see that you are offering what it is they are looking for.

The International Coach Federation, the leading coach professional organization, has conducted and reviewed studies about coaching in organization. They found an average return of $4.30 and $7.90 for every $1 invested. They also found that training combined with coaching increases productivity by four times more than training alone (which makes sense given that coaching works over time to reinforce the work of training, and also given the research that almost 85% of most training content is lost after two weeks). Fast Company Magazine did a survey and found that 92% of leaders being coached said that they plan to use a coach again.

Sometimes people have a hard time finding the right coach...

Because they're just not COACHABLE...

Meaning - they don't take feedback very well, they get defensive when held accountable, they make excuses (the only thing worse than an excuse-is a good excuse.) and they don't take massive action when required.


A coach can't do anything for you if you're not willing to humble yourself, stop talking and start listening, and hustle your a$$ off when necessary.

It comes when you are ready to ask all the questions.

Recently, I was asked what I do in coaching others...
Simple, I help bring clarity...

Just the right question can make all the difference.

While on a coaching call last week with one of my clients,
he replied, "I have never thought about it that way...."

I said, "Isn't that why you pay me?"

His response,

"You know, I never thought of it that way either..."

'How can I -be of service to others?"
