The lottery is the biggest conversation of the week. People that has never played the lottery went out and bought tickets. I imagine each person that bought a ticket thought about what they would do if they won. I also think that some people bought tickets and didn't give it a second thought.. It is something how society and advertising can get people to do something with out really being in the moment. The media expose the mega million lottery so much that if you didn't play the lottery you thought about it. Even if your chance to win was 1 in 176million
But I always try to figure out the reason behind it. It is more to the lottery than we know, in order for someone to win someone has to lose. The millions that was won did not come from the lottery . It came hard working people that want something better in life that they are willing to spend there last dollar to get it. Also the mega millions lottery take people focus away for a few days. It changes the conversation. It become the headline news. The more important thing is pushed in the background. It is really something how this country controls it citizens. We are like puppets on a string.
Is it good? Is it bad?
Its all in how you look at it . If we are puppets when it come to the lottery what else do we fall for with out thinking..
