There are countless ways that our digital tools can be used for advertising but, there are times when our clients may need to just get important information out to their subscribers. Some non advertising examples:


  • The pastor of a church may want to send out an alert to announce that service has been cancelled due to weather. (Using the app) Or may want to transmit continually with the beacon to notify staff and members on the grounds and inside the building that due to weather everyone will be leaving early. (using both the app and the beacon)


  • A university may want to announce that an entrance to the student parking lot  is closed for the day for maintenance and list the temporary entrance. (using both the app and the beacon)


  • A Doctor at his clinic has to do an emergency surgery and needs all afternoon appointments at the clinic rescheduled. He uses both the app and the beacon to notify his patients of the need and to call the office at their convenience. Meanwhile, the office staff can continue working productively. (using both the app and the beacon)


  • A day care center may want to use the app after a tornado has swept thru the area to send out an alert to the parents and to the local newspaper/TV station that there are no injuries. Where the children can be picked up. Or if injuries have occured, where the child has been sent to. (using both the app and/or the beacon)


** Note: Approval for messages used on the beacon must be approved by the home office and can take up to 24 hours, but is usually approved in minutes


For tax deduction purposes, the tools should not to be used for gain in personal, political or religious views … unless, of course, you are a politician or a pastor or similar.

The customers of today are savvy, relentless and tough. No matter what they are looking for ... their choices most often are many. It takes a lot more than offering the right product or service at the right price.

Whether the experience is virtual or in store, after price, they are focused on  convenience and customer relations and it is here usually, where most of us fail.

Take a look from your customer’s view, review the steps, implement changes where necessary. A glitch here in time could be disastrous.
