Are You Afraid of Bumblebees?

Are you afraid of bumblebees? You shouldn't. They are gentle and unaggressive.
Did you know that the bumblebee is, maybe, the most loved insect in America?
"What Do You Know About Bumblebees" is an educational book for young children.
If you read it you'll find out that these small and cute insects are also extremely important for you.

I am writing books, children's books. I don't think that makes me a writer. For that, I need to walk a long way or I'm at the beginning of it and I don't know what it will give.

I write both fiction and nonfiction books. For kids. For the moment. Things might change in future but that's what I'm doing now.

Do you have kids? Do they like fruits or vegetables? Do your kids know that flowers need to be pollinated in order to become fruits? And who will do the pollination? Bees, bumblebees, the wind, certain birds.

I decided to write an educational book about bumblebees. Why? I didn't know that this cute and clumsy insect can pollinate certain flowers that other insects cannot. Children should know that especially now when several species of bumblebees are endangered. And honeybees are endangered too.

Bumblebees and honeybees need protection and our children should be aware of this.

As Billy the Bumblebee in the book says: "I am very little compared to you but, despite this fact, I am very important to you and your family. This book is for you to understand our importance and why you need to protect us, the bumblebees. You can do that if you know about us, about how we live and about our habits."

My book is free. Read it to your child! Click
