How Do You Schedule Your Time?

I have asked myself that question many times over, even more so recently with all the things I have learned about getting that money making website noticed.

And I have six up and running with two more on the back burners waiting for content and all things that must go with it.

Add to the weekly tasks of maintaining a website, you must also find time to throw it out there to the public so as to get noticed through all the social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.

Then there are other platforms such as IBO,  Wealthy Affiliate, Reddit, etc.

While I am writing an article as this one to post on IBO, the thought comes to mind: ‘should I not be spending this time writing for one of my sites?’ Why am I spending my time here????

When that thought comes to you or myself, one must understand that it is all part of the game, and posting, writing, shouting out on these venues will all be found to be time well spent for the growth of your internet business.

So how do I schedule my time?

First of all, it’s an everyday thing.

Those who preach that all you have to do is get a site up and running with some content and with something to sell then sit back and ‘poof’ the cash will come rolling in are just plain lying to you.

I try to post an article a week on each of my sites. I will schedule a day for one of those sites. On that day I will go into the admin page and do all the updates that is needed such as plugins, broken links, answering any comments.

I will then write an article and when finished post it on the search engines I use, use the Google Search Console to ‘Fetch as Google’ and if I am focused: bam- I’m done. Maybe one to two hours.

After that I will spend my time on a platform such as IBO to learn a little more, gather some free credits, tend to my advertising. IBO is an everyday thing. Other platforms will get a viste at least once a week to add something to, or to learn something.

Always learning. It’s such a fast paced changing business.

And I do not always find the time or have the ambition. And even with a schedule, I get behind.

So I cheat from time to time and will outsource some of my content needs.

It can be at times a little overwhelming however, if you do a simple thing such as a calendar or a spreadsheet and just schedule each day with a task for one specific site if you have several such as myself, you will find yourself getting a better handle on this internet quest with profits as the reward.

And do not forget staying involved in those other platforms such as IBO.

Thanks for reading

John Williams
