What I Learned from Napoleon Hill's book - “Think and Grow Rich"

The key to success, what is the process? And what are the most important steps? Napoleon Hill learned specific techniques and secrets for achieving ANY goal in life.

Napoleon Hill was commissioned by Andrew Carnegie to do a twenty-year study observing successful people. At the turn of the 1900's, Mr. Carnegie was at that time the richest man in the world. He also belonged to a few Secret Societies -- societies like the Freemasons, the Brotherhood, Skull and Bones, and the Illuminati. At the completion of his study, Napoleon Hill wrote several books in which he unveiled these secrets. These secrets had never been revealed to the public until he published these books.

One of Napoleon Hill's best know publications is “Think and Grow Rich." I highly recommend reading this book over and over again. You'll learn something new every time you read it! Why? Because as you grow as a person you'll gain and appreciate new understandings of what you read.

SO WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

Step 1 * YOU MUST DEFINE YOUR DREAM * You either have a dream, or you don't! That's it! Period! You can be very specific about your dreams when it's something that's in abundance. Or, if your dream is for something very specific that you want, you may want to define your dreams in general terms. This gives the university some flexibility in manifesting the best of thousands of possibilities. Even if you're at a point where you're not sure of what you want, you can just imagine how great you would feel inside if you had what you wanted.

Step 2 * GET A BURNING DESIRE FOR ITS ACHIEVEMENT * Earl Nightingale said “You become what you think about most of the time.” The first part of this concept is that it has to be something you can believe in. And second, you must think about it a lot. A whole lot! All the time! It helps to create simple things that can remind or trigger your brain to think about your dreams. So, make something like a dream book with pictures of what you want that you can look at through out the day. Create a dream board. Post sticky notes around your home and in your car where your subconscious mind can see them. Get out and physically look at and touch the things you want. Just doing these things will cause your mind to focus on what you want.
