What Are You Grateful For?

It is said that recognizing and acknowledging that everyone has a different view point and perspective of something gives you a big advantage in dealing with people. I believe this to be very true. When you begin to understand and practice this, you will have fewer knee-jerk reactions and feelings of the need to defend yourself.

"What you resist will persist." - Carl Jung

When I was very young I used to resist walking away from unhealthy conversations with adults because I was socialized into thinking that it was disrespectful. But let me tell you, I will now politely excuse myself, or walk away if necessary from any one-sided, self serving, closed minded conversation any day! And I encourage every person, young and old, to do the same.

I find it very interesting that since I made that decision years ago, I really haven't found myself in that kind of predicament again. Isn't that great! I feel so Grateful!

I truly believe that we attract all kinds of things in our lives -- both good and bad. However, I also believe that every event or situation has something to teach us. If we focus on all the bad things, it only brings more bad things into our lives or keeps us stuck on a problem. But when we look for the good around us we attract more of the same. Whatever vibration we are sending out will come back to us. Anything that is not like that vibration cannot show up.

The best vibration to be in is one of Gratitude! If you want your life to change you're gonna have to change things in your life -- especially what you say out loud, and also the way you think about yourself and others.

Practice the vibrations of Gratitude, Appreciation and being Thankful. Then look to see what shows up in your life! I can promise you "it will be more things in your life that you appreciate and are thankful and grateful for!"
