Elementary Particles, Part J-7 - Summary and Index of The Preonic Wars

In this series of PRs I have focused on a question that has intrigued mankind for millennia, and that question is "What is the World Made Of?" In Parts A and B we looked at the history of proposed answers to this question, eventually arriving at the present theory of quarks, leptons and force carriers, which combined is known as "The Standard Model". In Parts C and D we saw how a new particle model - the ABC Preon Model - can model nature's particles in a way that is different from, and simpler than, the Standard Model. In part E we looked at neutrinos, quarks and weak interactions in the ABC Preon Model, in part F we looked at preonic masses, and in Part G we investigated additional high energy physics (HEP) experiments. In part H we compared the ABC Preon Model to its competition, and in part I we summarized and put a perspective on the previous parts. In part J we took a look at some of the difficulties I have had with getting the word out concerning the ABC Preon Model.

We have seen how the ABC Preon model is a scientifically correct, testable and simple model for elementary particle physics. The scientific correctness follows from the fact that it is shown how the preons can be used to construct the quarks and leptons of the standard model, which enables the ABC preon model to also share in the successes of the standard model. The testable nature of the ABC preon model exists in the fact that a 69.6 GeV signature should exist in lepton and hadron colliders that is similar to the already observed 91.2 GeV peak associated with what is known as Z particle production. Many other signatures should also exist in high energy physics colliders associated with the production of free preon groups. The simplicity is evident in the great reduction in needed number of elementary particles, as well as in the reduction in the number of forces at play in the universe.

As with any new theory, opportunity exists for further research. The theory should be advanced with mathematical models, and one goal should be the accurate ability to derive masses for the massive leptons and hadrons. Experimentally, verification of the 69.6 GeV signature, as well as other preon signatures, would be important confirmation of the theory.

Yet as strong as the ABC Preon Model is, it has proven to be very difficult to gain publicity and reviews for the model. In Part J I have presented the story of that difficulty, and below are the links to the various PRs associated with that story.
