Elementary Particles, Part J-5 - The Preonic Wars: Recent Events, Posts at IBO and ATS

In this series of PRs I am focusing on a question that has intrigued mankind for millennia, and that question is "What is the World Made Of?" In Parts A and B we looked at the history of proposed answers to this question, eventually arriving at the present theory of quarks, leptons and force carriers, which combined is known as "The Standard Model". In Parts C and D we saw how a new particle model - the ABC Preon Model - can model nature's particles in a way that is different from the Standard Model. In part E we looked at neutrinos, quarks and weak interactions in the ABC Preon Model, in part F we looked at preonic masses, and in Part G we investigated additional high energy physics (HEP) experiments. In part H we compared the ABC Preon Model to its competition, and in part I we summarized and put a perspective on the previous parts. In part J we're taking a look at some of the difficulties I have had with getting the word out concerning the ABC Preon Model.

As mentioned in my previous PR, after being censored at Wikipedia I came to the conclusion that my best course of action would be to try and get the word out about my Preon Model using social media. I wrote a series of posts on Facebook, and got some moderately positive feedback from a few people I know. I also posted a similar series on the BookWormBiz main web page, and I put together a series of Youtube videos. None of these efforts got me much traction.

Several months ago I began this series of PRs here at IBO, and I have again gotten some positive feedback, which is nice. I also wanted to get additional scientific feedback. I needed some website where scientists are active, and a couple of months ago I began posting about my model at AboveTopSecret.

As mentioned in my previous PR, I learned about AboveTopSecret because of my censored Wikipedia article. John Skieswanne was active promoting his own preon model at AboveTopSecret and he wrote this thread expressing disappointment that my Wikipedia article had been deleted. I found John's article doing a Google search for the ABC Preon Model.

I first spent some time at AboveTopSecret participating in threads discussing quantum philosophy and relativity, and my comments were well received. So then I began my posts on the ABC Preon Model. The first few threads got some good scientific feedback, and I was thrilled to begin to have a discussion on the science after all these years. Unfortunately, I stopped getting scientific comments after those first few threads. But I continued to put up all my material, ending with an all-in-one thread, the 18th in the series. But that one also got no feedback. Since I got no feedback I wrote this post about the difficulties I have had with censorship and the silence I usually encounter and I asked for feedback. I then finally got some feedback, which indicated that there was very little - if any - readership of my posts there. I was happy to get some feedback, since only by getting feedback can we learn to do things better in the future.

This PR has now brought my story of the ABC Preon Model up to date. In the next PR we'll look at some thoughts about what may be coming in the future, and then we can finally wrap things up with some summary PR's.
