What is the Biggest Challenge for Moms Working at Home?

For additional information  Click Here

Moms working at home are likely to be perceived as having the best of both worlds – a flexible schedule to adapt to her family’s needs and the ability to call her own shots regarding work load commitments. On the surface, that may all sound good, but the reality is, there is a basic challenge typically faced by the stay at home mom who chooses to also work for a living. One of the biggest hurdles is the management of the time allotted to get all of your goals accomplished. Here you have it – there are basically 1,020 usable minutes in any given day – assuming you are averaging 7 hours of sleep. Now, just like everyone else, the moms who work from home have to figure out how they are going to best use that time. Once you subtract the meal preparations, cleaning, errands, and other household priorities, you may find those 1,000+ minutes have quickly dwindled down to about 500 minutes… Now, what you do with these remaining minutes is what separates the women from the girls. These activities will NOT help you create the income that you and your family deserve: * watching day time television * wasting time on the phone * checking out sales at the mall (remember you are trying to MAKE money, not SPEND it) * spending time working ON your business and not IN your business Here is the Key that will help you to master the remaining Minutes. Plan your day each night before you put your head on the pillow. When you practice this one little HABIT, you will find that your days of working from home will flow together into a productive and measurable pattern. You will be able to see and evaluate results. The bottom line is that it’s about being in control – of what you can – and releasing what you can’t. That way you do not get bent around the axle, frustrated about missed deadlines or regretful about not being where you should be. The beauty of new days is that they are each a clean slate and an opportunity for you to go for the gold once again. That is one of the coolest things about being a work at home mom – in many cases you get to write your own plan of action and you can adjust it if you need to. The goal is to keep moving towards the goal. Plain and simple. Commit to this one simple action and you will have greater success at being a most effective work at home mom who sets and reaches her goals as she makes more money.
