Matt Lloyd Lessons

I’m not yet a member of MOBE but I have become a fan of the found/guru/leader of the pack - Matt Lloyd

If you are not familiar with his platform, MOBE is focused on high dollar affiliate marketing.

Recently I got one of his autoresponder emails that focused on the 3 things most people do that “mess them up”

Per the ‘MOBE master”...

Most people go wrong with these 3 things:

  • The "shiny object" syndrome (they're obsessed with the 'new, hot thing' and never focus on mastering one thing)
  • Getting stuck in learning mode.  Learning is great.  But if you're not applying your new knowledge, it's completely useless.  In fact it's worse than useless, because it leads to overwhelm, which leads to more inaction / paralysis.  Always. Be. Taking. Action.

  1. Never owned or operated a business before - so taking full responsibility and holding themselves accountable does not always come naturally.”

I couldn’t agree more (one of the reasons I’m sure I’ll join their crusade eventually)

For me, #3 is NO problem. I’m one of those people that’s been self-employer “forever”. I’ll be 57 in a few weeks but the last “job” I had was when I was 19.

As for #1 and #2…

I’ve been just as guilty as any “rookie” just realizing that “job” is not a word in the “Get financially independent” dictionary.

I’ve been caught up in the “next big thing”, the “shiny object” syndrome in my foray into the internet marketing world but also in the network marketing business and my insurance business.

As for the “learning mode”, I’ve spent WAY too much time learning (or trying to learn) every intricate detail about how things work that I really don’t need to know at all.

It’s the RESULT that I can get in my business from this product or that program that we need to focus on. As highly as most of us think of ourselves, there are countless virtual assistants & potential employees that are many times more technically proficient than we Entrepreneurs are.

Pay attention to the 3 points.

Life is short. Don’t get caught up the minutiae that won’t help you build your business as quickly and effectively as possible.

Bill Bateman (like Batman with an “E” in the middle)

PS - be SURE to track EVERYTHING - I use LeadsLeap - it’s free version is perfectly adequate for most business and it’s paid version is Less than $2 a day

Click here and sign up as a free affiliate I’ll give you 300 IBO credits if you do that before August (just send me an email inside the IBO platform)
