Every Wall is a Door.

"Every wall is a door".

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

The simple quote above shares a very powerful message; it tells us that every wall is door. Now before you disregard this statement as nonsensical, think about the purpose of a wall. A wall is erected to create a partition, to keep things in or out. No matter how tall or dense that wall, there is always something on the other side. However, most people view walls as the end, a point of impassability.

On the other side of the wall
The wall is not a dead end; instead it's a reminder that there is something more on the other side. Sure, the access may not be straightforward and easy to navigate but just as a wall can be put up, it can be torn down. If too thick to break through it can be climbed and ultimately conquered.

The drive to overcome a challenge is determined by the pull of what lies beyond the wall. You will either view the wall as a blockade or the way forward. If what you truly desire lies on the other side of that wall, nothing will stop you from finding a way through. The wall is your doorway without hinges, but what does that matter when you have the strength and perseverance to find a solution?

Many people complain about having the wrong kind of wall, it's too thick, too high and will take far too long to overcome. Whilst others choose not to focus on the construction of their wall but instead focus on how it will feel once they get through it. In the end, the feeling of satisfaction, peace of mind and confidence will leave you energised and ready to face any walls in the future.

When you view every wall as a door, life will open up endless possibilities to you, the kind others only dream of.

Keep pushing through, break down those walls!
