You Aren't Wealthy Until You Have Something Money Can't Buy.

The word ‘wealth’ brings to mind, an abundance of things considered to be valuable. This is often associated with possessions, money or any display of material prosperity.

“You aren't wealthy until you have something money can't buy”.

~Garth Brooks

The quote above makes an important distinction between material gain and that which cannot be bought with money. We’re all familiar with the trappings of wealth poster image, it's the big house, fast cars and ultra-luxury living. But true wealth is not exclusively about an external display of material prosperity. Yes it's great to have and enjoy such abundance in the form of 'things', however true wealth encompasses so much more.

So what are the things considered to be of great value that money can't buy? Well, there’s Love, integrity, trust, wisdom, manners, common sense, peace of mind, class, patience, friendship and respect, just to name a few. It’s true that many have managed to accumulate material wealth without first possessing the qualities mentioned above, but it is also true that this wealth is often short lived in the absence of such qualities.

Wealth without love, integrity and trust is like a mirage. It all looks very impressive from a distance but on closer inspection, you will see that things are not so bright and shiny as they first appear. Wealth is not about putting on a show, it is an attitude, a mindset that transcends the physical world and the preoccupation of accumulating 'things.' To be truly wealthy is to be aligned with a higher purpose and vibration of abundance. There is no shortage of abundance in this world and we can all live abundantly in it. But we must remember, it's the things that money can't buy which carry the highest value.
